Step back in time and live like royalty - we've got activities that'll make you feel like you've wandered onto a movie set
Yeah, we're talking real archery and sword fighting here. Our resident "knight" - he's actually a stunt coordinator who's worked on a couple of big productions - will teach you proper technique with longbows and medieval weapons replicas.
It's way more challenging than it looks, trust me. You'll feel those muscles the next day, but there's something incredibly satisfying about hitting that target or nailing a sword form. Kids absolutely love it, and honestly? So do the adults who thought they'd just be watching.
Look, I'll be straight with you - this isn't one of those cheesy dinner-and-tournament shows. Our chef takes medieval recipes and actually makes 'em taste incredible with modern culinary techniques. Think slow-roasted meats, hearty stews, and mead that's been brewed right here.
The whole hall gets transformed twice a week. Candlelight, live music from a guy who's seriously talented with the lute, and servers dressed in period clothing who actually know their history. It's theatrical without being over-the-top, and the food? Genuinely outstanding.
We've crafted special packages that change with the seasons - each one brings something different to the table
When the snow hits Whistler, this place becomes something else entirely. We're talking hot mulled wine by massive fireplaces, spa treatments that'll warm you to your bones, and torchlit evening walks around the grounds that feel straight out of a fantasy novel.
Summer here? It's all about adventure. We've got falconry demonstrations with actual birds of prey, horseback riding through mountain trails, and outdoor archery competitions that get surprisingly competitive. Plus our gardens are in full bloom - perfect for that Instagram shot.
Autumn brings out the medieval harvest traditions. We host a proper festival with craft beer from local breweries, traditional games that are harder than they look, and cooking classes where you'll learn to make actual medieval dishes. The fall colors around here don't hurt either.
Spring's when we do things a bit differently - more art, more music, more culture. We bring in period musicians for intimate concerts, host calligraphy and illumination workshops, and our herbalist runs garden tours that'll teach you more than you expected about medieval medicine.
Our historian-in-residence gives tours that are actually engaging - none of that dry textbook stuff. She'll walk you through how medieval castles really worked, show you architectural details most people miss, and yeah, you'll get to see the "dungeon" (it's more of a wine cellar now, but don't tell anyone).
The hour goes by quick 'cause she's got stories that bring the whole medieval period to life. You'll learn about siege warfare, daily life in castles, and how this building was designed to incorporate authentic fortress elements while still being, y'know, actually comfortable to stay in.
Daily 11am & 4pm

A few more things you might wanna check out while you're here
Ever wanted to hammer hot metal? Our blacksmith runs monthly workshops where you'll actually forge something to take home. It's loud, it's hot, and it's incredibly cool.
$189 per session
Learn actual medieval dance steps from our choreographer. It's way more fun than modern dancing, and you'll impress everyone back home. Trust me on this one.
$75 per couple
Thursday nights, our storyteller spins medieval legends and local folklore by the great hall fireplace. Bring the kids - or don't, adults love it just as much.
